MMMM STUDIO

Graphic design studio born from the union between two Gemmas, who come together by affinity and share the same name by chance. 

The name, though, is not the only thing they have in common: they both work in illustration, are obsessed with color, prefer dark chocolate and vibrate to the music of La Casa Azul. They also coincide in values, share a work ethic and believe in honest, personal and meaningful design.

If it doesn't amuse, excite or make you think, it's not mmmm.

GEMMA TEROL

Graphic designer and illustrator from Alcoi who lives in Barcelona. She combines her design work in the studio with more personal illustration, always representing everyday scenes and objects, and has worked for El País, The Barcelonian project and illustrating book covers. Her creations are always in red and blue, sometimes introducing yellow, and often using sailor stripes. When she switches to ceramic format, she likes to discover characters on cups, teapots or jugs bought at markets and try give them a second life. She also tells stories on plates.

GEMMA FONTANALS

Designer, illustrator and muralist, from her village to the world.

She reads comics, draws stories, paints murals of women who love each other, models funny ceramics, sews amateur dolls and publishes fanzines about pop phenomena. Her favorite projects are those that are born from enthusiasm, allow a certain margin of error and contain large doses of color. She is curious, imaginative and a Spice Girls fan.
